- Possession of alcoholic beverages by anyone under 21 will not be tolerated. Absolutely no alcohol may be brought inside the Civic Center. No ice chests are allowed inside the festival grounds.
- Photography is encouraged, please bring your cameras. However, please make it a habit to ask permission before taking any pictures.
- We'll offer sympathy, but BayouCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, beaten by a Klingon, or destroyed property. Additionally, we are not responsible for injuries sustained during the course of the convention. In other words, you are on your own.
- We reserve the right to ask you to leave the event and refuse a refund of your ticket. You are required to sign a registration form to gain admittance.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the event. This includes outside gaming areas. If you are smoking or appear to be smoking, we will put you out.
- Weapons Policy will be enforced: All weapons must be non-working and peace bounded. No functioning projectile weapons including water postols, silly string guns, and ping-pong pistols. Bladed weapons must be cased and sheathed at all times (take it out and you will be asked to leave). No clowning around or showing off in common areas, Any weaponsed used in this manner will be confiscated and you risk being ejected. With your help, and good justment choices, we can continue to allow weapons!
- Because of the harsh reality that we live in, staff, hotel security, and local law enforcement officials will treat anything that looks like a real gun as a real gun. Sorry, we do not post bail.
- Please, above all else, take a bath. Convention funk, like drugs, is bad.
- Please do not abuse our hotels and convention center. No signs will be allowed to be placed on walls. Please don't destroy the facilities; we kinda like to do this again.
- No costume is NOT a costume. There are things called laws against this and we surely don't want to see you like that. Wear approrpiate clothing!
- Hotel room parties are NOT allowed per the hotel rules; however, gatherings are acceptable. Please do not get out of hand.
- Because BayouCon is a part of another festival, their rules will also be enforced.
Please abide by the above rules so we can all have a great time!
