It wouldn't be a convention without some great cosplay guests. We are no longer accepting Cosplay guests for this year. Thanks to everyone who signed up to attend!
You loved them last year! Known for showing Chancellor Gowron and General Martok how to do the Cupid Shuffle. They return to BayouCon again in 2013.

We enchant males of many species into emptying their pocket books. We are known for our animalistic nature, our extreme carnal appetites and for our innate skill of seduction. The Human male can rarely resist the alluring dance of Orion's Envy.

December 21st, 2012 a new, uncharted universe began and, like the sunchild, Arylon was born. Inspired by the sometimes named but more often generically referred to as the “dancing girl” from early Final Fantasy games, she is frivolous, giddy and knowledgeable. She will take on any persona and loves those the double entendres often characterized by female sci-fi, anime and gaming characters.

Hello, my name is Duncan aka Black Tie Cosplay and I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been cosplaying since 2002 but that was limited to Halloween and school events. In 2005 I went to my first convention (Mechacon) while visiting my grandparents in Louisiana. The next year I attended Anime Vegas 2 and realized that I wasn't the only one in Las Vegas who was into anime to the cosplay degree. From there I attended Anime Vegas 3, 4, 5, and 6 and AX 2008 before moving to Louisiana in 2010. Since then I've attended 3 additional Mechacons, 3 Louisianimes, Ikkicon 5 and 6, Bayoucon 4, A-kon 2012, San Japan 2012 and both 2012 New Orleans Comic Cons.
Longest running costume was Jigen Daisuke from Lupin the III. First used Halloween 2002 and retired at Ikkicon VI. I have also done characters from Naruto and Bleach in addition to more recent costumes from Fullmetal Alchemist, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball, One Piece, among others including American Horror movies, Wreck-it Ralph, and comic books. I do not typically participate in cosplay contests and the like because I don't really believe in cosplaying for awards. I simply enjoy doing it because it makes me happy. I make all of my props such as Madara and Tobi's masks, Ox King's helmet and Laxus's headphones. I don't have access to many of the tools I need to do some of the props I want to, but that generally doesn't stop me. Where there's a will there's a way.
Please give a warm welcome to Brigette Rose, aka "OoLaLa" in the cosplay community. You may recognize this cheeky red-head from her 7 years as one of the original space-girl cosplay-spokes-models for Louisiana's anime convention, MechaCon. This avid gamer-girl has been cosplaying for almost 10 years. Some of her award-winning cosplays include KOS-MOS from Xenosaga I, Marle from Chrono Trigger, and Terra from Final Fantasy VI.
In addition to her cosplay resume, Brigette is a University graduate of UL Lafayette, and has done supporting roles as a voice actress in the American releases of anime titles such as One Piece, Darker than Black, and Witchblade. Additionally, her voice can be heard on the radio from Lafayette to Baton Rouge on Rock 93.7FM, as dj/radio personality "OoLaLa" from the show "Two Hot Chicks on a Saturday Night". She is also a model for Charisma +2 Models and Talent - a specialty talent agency that focuses on the Video Game, Anime, and Sci-Fi industries. Aside from video-games and anime, she also loves to play Magic the Gathering, and builds her own decks.

Awkward Cosplay Girl is from and lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was once an stage actor, but has since stopped. This is what sparked her interest for cosplay. She hopes to gain more and more experience as she gets more years under her belt, seeing she only truly started cosplaying in 2012. Currently, ACG is working on making more of her own costumes, going to school, and working on the Social Media Team for Anime Secrets.org. She only currently has ten complete cosplays to her name, but by end of con season this year she hopes to have many more. She loves cosplay, nerf guns, anime, games, sci-fi, and comics. Most of all she loves her fans....and nerf guns. She really likes nerf guns. If you would like to check up on her here is her page http://www.facebook.com/dominique.dubois.org and she hopes to see all of you there.
As a child, Alex Bradford always watched anime. Waking up Saturday morning to watch cartoons was one of the highlights of her childhood. After moving around a lot she finally landed in Louisiana. This is where the awesomeness began. She was introduced to cosplay and anime conventions in 2010 after hanging out with one of her best friends. Encouraged to attend MechaCon that year, she jumped at the opportunity to try something new and instantly became hooked. The next year she started cosplaying with the help of a friend. Since then she has made all her own cosplays and props and plans on improving her skills and adding to her cosplay repertoire, while fine tuning her skills as a props master. To date she has made 7 cosplays and is in the process of making several more. “Alaska” as she is called in the cosplay community is an active staff member of the local cosplay group Louisiana Cosplayers and is also a staff member for AnimeSecrets.org. Alaska is very excited to be attending BayouCon for the first time as a guest. To follow her cosplay progress and con updates, check out her Facebook.
MissMarquin attended her first convention when she was ten, which was A-kon in Dallas Texas. It was large and she had a ton of fun, and while the cosplayers were really pretty, she thought it was a weird hobby, and never would ever try it. Eight years later, her best friend blackmailed her into cosplaying for the first time, and she instantly fell in love, lamenting the years that she had missed out on such an amazing hobby! She's been cosplaying for five years, teaching herself how to sew and make armor, slowly edging her way into the cosplay world. Known for her love of Cosplaying fighting game characters, she took home her first award at Ikkicon 7 for her Soul Calibur Cosplay group. She gravitates towards intricate designs, and the harder the costume the better. She can't wait to see what the future brings!
Ohayo! TabbyCatMittens has been cosplaying for about 5 years. She started out cosplaying at a young age; she quickly learned the ways of cosplay. She is a student still in high school but pushes her cosplay life into school as well being the head costume and makeup director of the drama committee. She has won few awards, judge cosplay contests, and has done interviews for the cosplay community. She has been promoted on cosplay videos by MLZ Studios, and has made several appearances on Cosplay in America’s Facebook page. She hopes to branch out her cosplaying experience with everybody she meets and continues to improve her skills today in hopes of being a better cosplayer.
Most notable for his cosplay Wakka from Final Fantasy X, a cosplayer from the baton rouge area that has been cosplaying for about 2 years now. An adept art student in grade school, he finally found his calling and honed his skills for crafting and fabricating cosplay for himself and others. His love for fantasy, horror, and fighting games drives and influences his costumes one after another and his attention to detail is what brings his props and costumes to life. He doesn't strive to be the best, but to only help others and better himself along the way.
