Louisiana 501st Bast Alpha Legion

The Legion is an all-volunteer organization formed for the express purpose of bringing together costume enthusiasts under a collective identity within which to operate. The Legion seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.

 

Dagobah Base Rebel Legion

The Rebel Legion is an international star wars costuming group. The largest good guy costuming group in the world. We strive to create movie quality costumes with which we share our love of Star Wars through community and charity events.

To provide additional updates on weather events in Acadiana and Southwestern Louisiana provided by NWS and Spotter Network trained storm spotters.

 

Mind's Eye Society

Mind’s Eye Society is a non-profit organization that is part of the Camarilla network of authorized fan clubs. Established in 1992 as The Camarilla, Mind’s Eye Society has been hosting Live Action Role Playing games set in White Wolf’s World of Darkness settings, both in Classic settings like Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and in the New World of Darkness, such as Vampire: The Requiem and Changeling: The Lost, with interactions with other players around the world.

 

Sowela Gamerz

The SOWELA Gamerz Club is a premier club function for the SOWELA Technical College of Southwest Louisiana. We focus on gaming of all genres, and seek to encourage those seeking a higher education to come hang out with us.

 

Knights of Nerdom

We are a general purpose fan group. We also serve as host to multiple other groups, including "The Jedi of the New Republic" fan and community service group, as well as the Nintendo Official Pokemon League "Mystical League". We play video games, card games, and share information and theories, for anything as small as deck construction or anime, to as big as constructing costumes, props, or even mechanical work!

 

USS Lafitte

The USS Lafitte is a Region 3 chapter of Starfleet Internationa Association based in Lake Charles Louisiana! It is the desire of members to bring exposure of genre fandom to a wider audience, while at the same time supporting and serving our community and those in need. We believe these goals enrich our lives, and the lives of those we touch and hold dear. Making for a richer, happier existence for everyone is, indeed, The Final Frontier.
